Jazzmine found her passion for dance at an early age, in fact, as long as she can remember. She has danced and studied a variety of styles including ballet, pointe, tap, contemporary, jazz, and modern.
While studying dance at local studios in her younger years, Jazzmine also participated in several summer intensives on scholarship including US Performing Arts in in Amherst, NH and formal ballet training with Valerie Madonia. She also participated in a competitive dance troupe. Later, she attended The School of The Grand Rapids Ballet Company for an intense year of ballet and pointe work as well as The Dance Department at San Diego Mesa College and Jean Isaacs San Diego Dance Theater. Her collegiate career then took her to the Dance Department of Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. Jazzmine also participated in the renowned six week American Dance Festival in North Carolina.
Her dancing career has consisted of numerous performances over the years across the United States including two years with the Northwest Sweethearts, a nonprofit dance team located in the Seattle Washington area. The NWS actively work and perform with charitable organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Jazzmine teaches a variety of styles including ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tap, and lyrical for dancers of all ages. She aspires to share her love of dance with everyone around her so that they too may have an opportunity to experience the beauty of dance.
