Enrollment in a class requires a completed and signed information and release form. A non-refundable $40.00 annual registration fee per student and the first month’s tuition is due upon enrollment. Tuition is not pro-rated for enrollments after the first of the month, although missed classes may be made up. DDC reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if needed.
Tuition is paid monthly. Tuition must be paid regardless of the student’s attendance each month. There is no extra charge for months with five lessons nor is there a reduction or refund for any classes missed or months with holidays. Tuition is due on the first of each month and considered past due after the 10th of the month. A non-waiving $15.00 late fee will automatically be charged to all late accounts on the 11th of each month. We do not send out monthly statements. Accounts must be current including any late fees before a student can participate in any performance, competition or receive costumes. Please inform the office 30 days prior if you intend to withdraw from a class or you will continue to be drafted. No refunds of any kind will be given.
Accounts must be secured with a credit card or bank account to be debited monthly for tuition, unless you are paying for the semester in full.
Each Credit Card purchase will incur a 5% processing fee. You have the option to have your account drafted on the 1st or 10th of the month only. There will be a $30.00 charge for all returned checks or denied auto-drafts.
Regular attendance is a must, as absences affect the entire class along with the progress of the student. Missed classes may be made up in a comparable class within the calendar month as long as tuition is current. Make-up lessons are not available at the end of the dance season when preparing for the year end production.
Dancers are expected to arrive on time to class wearing appropriate dancewear and shoes. Every student is expected to behave in a disciplined manner throughout the facility. There is no running, horseplay, or climbing on ballet barres allowed. Gum, food and drinks are not allowed in dance class. Excessive talking or unfriendly behavior does not promote a healthy atmosphere for learning. DDC reserves the right to dismiss any student whose conduct or attendance is found unsatisfactory. Visitors are not allowed in dance class. Students should be dropped off 5 minutes before class and promptly picked up after class. We are not responsible for students before and after their class time, and after they exit the studio. Please instruct your child to remain inside the studio for the duration of their time here at DDC. Please be advised we will not watch siblings of dancers before, during or after classes. Nor will friends be allowed to come into dance classes.
Hair must be tightly secured away from the face for all classes. The proper dress attire is an important part of dance; it helps the teacher to correct proper body alignment and technique for the dancer. Please label your dancewear, shoes and bags. We will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
We perform for local retirement homes for the holidays and other events when we are asked. You will receive notice of all performances. There will be a Christmas performance fee of $20.00 per dancer to cover the cost of the facility rental.
The annual Spring production information will be posted as soon as it is confirmed. There is a non-refundable $80.00 per dancer production fee due March 15th. This fee covers the cost of the theatre, technicians, props, backstage workers, etc…

The cost of each costume is estimated around $75.00 – $100.00 for younger classes and $90.00 – $150.00 for older classes (additional charge for extra sizing in youth or adult).
